Wow I can't believe that summer is almost over. We have had a great one. We saw family and friends and spent some great time just chillin' out. I am always a little sad when summer ends. I cherish the extra time I have with the kids. I am not one of those mothers that can't wait till the kids are out of the house. But to everything there is a season, and just yesterday I was looking at the mountains from out balcony and felt a bit of chill in the breeze. So fall is almost upon us and the lazy days of summer coming to a halt. We had 8 days at a resort in Seaside OR , with Carl's Parents, and brothers and sisters. Then the kids and I spent 5 days with my sisters and their families.
We planted a little garden this year. Yesterday I "harvested" some corn. YUMMY. We have pumpkins, corn watermelon, and sunflowers. It is small, but it was really cool to eat something I planted.
Carl is coaching football again this year, for those of you who aren't aware, Carl is the assistant coach here in Oroville. His ready to start school again.
Isaac may or may not be doing cross country. Cross country might be canceled this year, we shall see. He will be a senior this year. YIKES!! Isaac is also finishing up his Eagle project, I am glad that it is almost finished.
Preston started football practice last week. I am trying very hard to forget the bumps and huge bruises that he got last year. He is a sophomore this year.
Colton starts football practice this week. YIKES again, my baby boy will be in 7th grade. He has already gotten his locker set up.
Kloey will start kindergarten this week. My baby girl is growing up. She is soooo excited.
Karra, well I am gearing up for my fall shows. i am doing 5 I think. That is aways busy, busy, busy. I am also working as a substitute teacher. I really enjoy it. That really surprised me (quite a bit actually) that I would enjoy it. But I do.
Our Landlord has put new siding on our house. It looks like a completely different house. It will be painted on Monday or Tuesday. With the new siding and a nice lawn, well it certainly changes the way that I view the house.
